Sylvie Leotin is the Founder and CEO of Equify Health. A multicultural cancer survivor, polymath, and entrepreneur, she is on a mission to advance health equity in cancer care and beyond.

Sylvie’s unorthodox career path crosses industries, disciplines, continents, and cultures. She started her career as a professional ballerina, earning a prestigious gold medal from France’s National Conservatory, later becoming a computer scientist, and moving to Silicon Valley to conduct research at Stanford Robotics Laboratory. Throughout her 25-year career, Sylvie has held a broad range of roles spanning software development, product management, marketing, design, research, and innovation. Prior to founding Equify Health, she was the founder and CEO of Tech Atelier, a business consultancy advising startups on product, fundraising, and marketing strategy. She has served as interim Vice President of marketing for several startup companies and worked with technology giants, including NASA, Oracle, and Google.

Deeply distraught by the rampant health disparities, Sylvie started Equify Health to apply her unique multidisciplinary background, firsthand cancer experience, and creative acumen to develop new solutions to an old vexing problem. An influential blogger and former HuffPost contributor, she has a gift for revealing the unmet needs of people and consumers and painting images with words.

Sylvie holds an MS in Engineering-Economic Systems from Stanford University and an MS in Computer Science from INSIEE. She studied math, physics, and dance undergraduate. She is currently finishing her first book.
